Coen Stands & Jayd Becomes Single
The little man is now standing for a few seconds and loving it (he stands like an offensive lineman bracing himself for a hit/fall). His hip/leg contraction makes it tough to balance, but he's a little trooper. This week brings a surgery that will hopefully continue to improve the situation.In other news, Jayd is now single after losing his wedding ring during a bridge jump off the MoPac pedestrian bridge here in Austin. Nobody's terribly bummed as it wasn't a great or expensive ring anyway (just need to find a cheap replacement!). The only bummer was that Kayla and Kalsea did not join me, even after 20 minutes of waiting! Video here (notice my little man's awesome 'proud of his dad' moment at the 20-second mark):

Jayd -I was so glad to hear from you. (And for the record Scott is on his 7th ring.) I was just thinking about you cuz I found a mix tape circa 93. Yes I still have a tape player. We are stoked Coen likes Yo gabba. When he is of age he'll have to come and dancey dance. Congrats on #2!

You're still the thrill seeker I remember—though this is MUCH better (and safer) than heroine!! HAHAHA! You're the only Mormon (sorry "Latter-Day Saint" for PC terms) I know who is so blunt and honest about what vices you would gravitate towards if you hadn't been born into your LDS family.
I really hope we get to see you in the near future. Dame is going to be down in Austin this month, so please email me your info to tarynr@core-creations.net. Congrats on #2 too!!! Camryn is Dec. 10th (turning 5 this year), so we'll see how close you guys get to having us both celebrating our little ones birth on the same day.
